Israeli government doesn’t want to sell shipping company

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opposes German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd’s proposed acquisition of Zim, Israel’s largest shipping company, Spiegel reported yesterday. Among the reasons for concern is that Hapag-Lloyd is partly owned by Qatari and Saudi Arabian national wealth funds.
