NATO Holds Largest Military Exercises Since Cold War

 

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization will hold a 90,000-man military drill starting this week and lasting until May. Its focus, defending Europe, shows how afraid the Continent is of Russia.

Details: “Steadfast Defender 2024” is nato’s largest exercises since 1988. It includes:

  • All 31 nato nations, plus Sweden, which is slated to join the alliance this year
  • 50 ships
  • 80 aircraft
  • 1,100 ground vehicles
