The Intentional Border Crisis

The Biden regime is deliberately ignoring the worst border crisis in United States history. Thousands of illegal aliens are crossing the southern U.S. border every day, and huge numbers of them are unaccompanied young adult military-age males. In the 32 months since Joe Biden was installed in the White House, roughly the equivalent of the entire population of El Salvador has been apprehended at the southern border: 6 million people. But those caught by Customs and Border Patrol agents are far from the only ones trying to enter the country illegally.

Thermal drone footage has revealed hundreds of migrants streaming into Texas under cover of darkness. And the New York Post reported that Biden has enabled 221,456 migrants to fly from South America “straight to their American cities of choice.” Data obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies shows the Department of Homeland Security is cajoling tens of thousands of would-be border-crossers into using a smartphone application to make appointments with U.S. officials at land ports of entry. Instead of walking into America, these illegal aliens are flying in on commercial airliners.

Why is this happening? Biden is intentionally overwhelming America’s border agents, immigration agents, big city mayors and small-town residents. He and his boss, Barack Obama, are making the illegal immigration process as efficient as possible. They are enabling South Americans to fly way over the border into the interior of the country, providing them with a smartphone when they arrive, and setting them loose in American cities as long as they promise to come back for an asylum hearing—knowing that many won’t show.

Welcoming the Whole World

Biden recently bragged about unilaterally granting temporary legal status to 472,000 illegal Venezuelan immigrants who arrived in the country this year. This makes it easier for these people to stay in the U.S. indefinitely. This is in addition to the 243,000 Venezuelans given temporary status last year.

Obama and Biden are allowing the U.S. to be overrun by noncitizens. It’s not a secret anymore. The Joebama regime wants to welcome in the whole world!

In his remarks to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute on September 22, Biden proudly stated, “I’ve also directed my team to make a historic increase in the number of refugees admitted from Latin America.”

A historic increase.

I’m not sure if Biden handlers wanted him to admit that openly. Opinion polls reflect that a vast majority of Americans disapprove of how he is handling immigration. Yet regardless of what citizens think, Biden is rapidly bringing in as many foreign immigrants as possible, a historic increase designed to bring a historic change that blots out what America has been and transforms it in one of the most fundamental ways possible.

Reduce America’s Standard of Living

A video recently circulated on X.com in which a comedian talks about the pressing need to open the U.S. border wide so that Americans will stop having such a high standard of living. He may have been joking, but many liberal elites are not, Obama foremost among them.

Remember how Obama lectured Americans about energy usage? “We can’t drive our suvs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes at 72 degrees all the time whether we are living in the desert or living in the tundra and just expect that every other country will say, ‘OK, you guys, go ahead and keep on using 25 percent of the world’s energy even though you only account for 3 percent of the world’s population,” he said in 2008.

Forget about how much of the world’s energy the United States produces (it is second only to China): Obama wants Americans to consume less, and it is not because he cares about the environment. He cares about control and using that control to dismantle America.

Obama thinks that right now the average American still has too much control over his own life. This needs to be “transformed.” Enticing millions of people from Latin America (and many other countries via Latin America) to live in the U.S. illegally, driving up energy prices, raising inflation, and otherwise reducing the resources and independence of the average American citizen is the way to accomplish this.

You are seeing demographic dismantling and mass wealth redistribution on a historic scale.

Some radicals think this is noble. Others haven’t thought it through at all. Many are ignorant of history, and most are ignorant of cause and effect in human affairs. But everyone could and should realize that this is intentional and evil! Look at the actions of Obama and Biden in the United States and abroad. They are not pursuing consistent policies of energy reduction, of Latin American quality of life, of reducing communicable diseases, or even of socialist ideals. The consistent policy, foreign and domestic, is to force through a historic, transformative dismantling of America!

Obama and other elites are trying to destroy the standard of living among common people so the whole country and the whole world will be poor and dependent on the cabal of elites (which, it just so happens, is and will continue to be increasingly rich).

New Constituents

The mayor of Eagle Pass, Texas, recently told the New York Post that his city has been overwhelmed by single men from Venezuela. It’s not oppressed children, women or families that Obama and Biden are trying to give mass amnesty to, but an army of military-aged single men entering a county that many of them despise. (The Customs and Border Protection Agency reports that 63 percent of those apprehended at the southern border are single.) Even Eric Adams, the liberal mayor of the Post’s hometown, 2,000 miles from the border and the richest city in the world, said that immigration across the southern border “will destroy New York City.”

“But why did the Biden administration deliberately unleash the largest influx across the southern border in U.S. history?” Victor Davis Hanson asks. “The ethnic chauvinists and Democratic Party elites needed new constituents, given their increasingly unpopular agendas. They feared that the more legal Latino immigrants assimilated and integrated into American society, the less happy they became with left-wing radical abortion, racial, transgender, crime and green fixations” (September 21).

This explains why Biden boasts about “a historic increase in the number of refugees admitted from Latin America” at a time when most Americans disapprove of how he handles immigrants. They are bringing in people who not only weaken the existing population but who can also become new voters from socialist nations.

America’s migrant crisis is an attempt by radicals to transform America into a socialist nation ruled by an American tyrant. Some analysts recognize this not only in the border crisis but also in the government’s treacherous response. But a much deeper analysis reveals far more about America’s illegal immigration crisis. That analysis comes from the prophecies of the Bible.

The World’s ‘Melting Pot’

In The United States and Britain in Prophecy, Herbert W. Armstrong identified early American immigrants as being descendants of the patriarch Abraham. Abraham’s grandson Jacob passed his birthright promises on to the sons of his son Joseph (Genesis 48). Jacob said the descendants of the one grandson, Ephraim, would become a company of nations, while those of the other, Manasseh, would be a single great nation.

Genesis 49:22 says, “Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall.” Joseph’s descendants, in other words, were to become a colonizing people in the latter days. That is exactly what they did, branching out from the British Isles all over the Earth, including North America.

Ephraim’s descendants became Great Britain, and Manasseh’s became the United States. Many American immigrants came from nations other than England. “A large part of Manasseh remained with Ephraim until the separation of New England,” Mr. Armstrong wrote. “But our forefathers were to be sifted through many nations, as corn through a sieve, yet not a grain to fall to the earth or be lost (Amos 9:9)” (op. cit.).

After the kingdom of Israel and then the kingdom of Judah were destroyed and their peoples scattered, the tribe of Ephraim and much of the tribe of Manasseh filtered through many different nations before they eventually immigrated to the islands off of northwest Europe. Many descendants of Manasseh, however, remained within the nations where they had been scattered. When America was being colonized by Britain, these descendants began immigrating to the New World. Not every European immigrant was a descendant of Manasseh, but a great majority were.

Like modern-day America, ancient Israel accepted immigrants from other nations. But God’s law specified that these immigrants were required to obey the laws of Israel (see Exodus 12:49; Leviticus 19:34; Numbers 9:14).

“Thus we have become known as the ‘melting pot’ of the world,” Mr. Armstrong wrote. “Instead of refuting our Manasseh ancestry, this fact actually confirms it. The proof that we are Manasseh is overwhelming. Manasseh was to separate from Ephraim and become the greatest, wealthiest single nation of Earth’s history” (ibid).

This is the reason for America’s historic exceptionalism! No Republican politician or conservative commentator tells you that or even ventures a good guess as to where and why and how America inherited the resources and the principles to become great, even though it is essential to understanding what is happening to America now!

The Source of America’s Blessings

Barack Obama and Joe Biden have forced America to a historic tipping point. They are motivating and enabling thousands of immigrants to pour in without legal processes or much vetting of any kind. Many of the migrants are uninterested in adopting America’s culture or following America’s laws, let alone the laws that governed America at its peak, in its early days or at its ancient origins.

“We no longer speak the same language, worship the same God, honor the same heroes, or share the same holidays,” Pat Buchanan summarized in 2014. “Christianity is in decline. Traditional churches are sundering over moral issues like abortion and same-sex marriage. Islam is surging. Our society seems to be disintegrating.”

We are no longer “one nation, under God, indivisible,” under one law and one flag. Instead, we are a balkanized brew of feuding ethnicities and cultures on the verge of race war.

The blessings of this nation came to us not “by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own,” as Abraham Lincoln warned. They came rather from “the God that made us.” As he said, “[I]t is the duty of nations as well as of men to owe their dependence upon the overruling power of God; to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scripture and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.”

These blessings came, as Mr. Armstrong documented in The United States and Britain in Prophecy, from the detailed promises God made to that president’s namesake: the patriarch Abraham. Every bit of wealth you and I have points back to that man and the principles he embodied: faith toward the true God and obedience to His laws.

Even well-known commentators who disregard prophecy and reject America’s biblical identity can see that we are on a disastrous course. America is splitting apart at the seams.

Consider the border crisis in light of Deuteronomy 28:43: “The sojourner who is among you shall mount above you higher and higher; and you shall come down lower and lower” (Revised Standard Version). This scripture is an end-time prophecy about the United States and Great Britain.

Simply look around to see that this prophecy and others are being fulfilled today. As Lincoln said in that same 1863 presidential proclamation: “We have forgotten God.” And now sojourners, strangers, immigrants and aliens are taking over the United States. The flood of illegal immigrants highlights a flagrant disregard for law. It exposes and exacerbates the loss of a common culture. America’s inability to protect its borders shows that the very things that define America as a nation are eroding. Uncontrolled, self-destructive mass immigration fulfills Bible prophecies.

The Prophet Isaiah says this crisis will intensify until the nation is destroyed: “Your country lies desolate, your cities are burned with fire; in your very presence aliens devour your land; it is desolate, as overthrown by aliens” (Isaiah 1:7; rsv). Drug cartels are exploiting this crisis to smuggle drugs and people into America—including many from foreign adversaries motivated to infiltrate, commit crime, and unleash terrorism in this country.

Currently, the aliens flooding across America’s border are mainly from Central and South America, but Bible prophecy shows that much more sophisticated infiltrations and more openly militarized invasions will follow (e.g. Isaiah 10:5-7). A future Trump administration will likely try to clamp down on border security. But without a Lincoln-like call for repentance toward God, an unprecedented response from Americans everywhere, and a resulting miracle by God, the open borders, flow of immigrants, flow of drugs and other policies being forced through on America will weaken the nation to where it can no longer resist a military invasion!

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, once a nation loses control of its borders, it is no longer a nation. This is happening, now, to the United States. And this historic transformation is being forced through by those at the very top!
