Rematch: Trump-Biden

Why leftist attempts to sabotage Trump’s campaign keep backfiring

Donald Trump clinched the Republican presidential nomination on March 12, capping off a stunning political comeback that many thought was impossible. Trump dominated the gop primaries despite the Democrats’ attempts to frame him for insurrection and the rinos’ attempts to sway the Republican base to vote Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley or literally anyone else. It looks like America is heading toward a Trump-Biden rematch in 2024. Yet just because Trump has beat the odds, don’t expect Democrats to start playing fair.

The Supreme Court had to issue a last-minute ruling to get Trump back on the ballot in Colorado in time for the Super Tuesday primary. If it were not for this 9-0 ruling in favor of Trump, Democrats may have been able to bar Trump from office by falsely accusing him of deliberately stirring up a violent insurrection against the United States government. Even the most radical liberal justices on the Supreme Court ruled that only Congress could determine whether a federal official is guilty of treason. Colorado’s attempts to bar Trump from office were unconstitutional. And Congress is unlikely to ever make such a ruling because the vast preponderance of evidence shows that Trump was not behind the Jan. 6, 2021, riots.

Considering everything the radicals have tried, what will they try next?

Legal analyst Jonathan Turley revealed on March 12 that, contrary to the media narrative, Trump actually did suggest that 10,000 national guardsmen be stationed at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Calling for the National Guard to perform crowd control is not something you do when you are trying to stir up a violent coup. It is something you do when you want to make sure protests remain peaceful while Congress lawfully investigates election fraud.

I have pointed out in numerous Trumpet Brief e-mails that the only ones who benefited from the violence on January 6 were the radicals trying to prevent Congress from convening peacefully, engaging in debate, and examining evidence from election theft with the world watching on television. Trump wanted this evidence examined, and he wanted 10,000 national guardsmen to keep the peace while it was examined. He wasn’t an insurrectionist.

The “insurrection” only benefited those who wanted to install Joe Biden as president.

The Supreme Court’s Colorado ruling has also undercut Special Prosecutor Jack Smith’s case against Trump over his role on January 6. But Smith isn’t giving up. Now he is pivoting to his other indictment against Trump: an accusation of criminal mishandling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. This indictment is also weak and obviously politically motivated: Special Counsel Robert Hur recently recommended that Joe Biden not be prosecuted for possessing classified documents, despite the fact that he possessed them for years in unsecure locations and without presidential authority. If the documents indictment is intended to also hurt President Trump’s popularity, that seems to be failing miserably as well.

Commenting on the classified documents case, Turley noted: “I think that overall, the weight of the evidence in favor of charging [Biden with a felony] was substantial. I think it explains why [Hur] had to emphasize [Biden’s] lack of memory and how he might appeal to a jury because the evidence was not supportive of the president.”

In other words, Trump has not yet been convicted of mishandling classified documents. The Presidential Records Act gives former presidents the right to keep archives, but Biden was not president when he took classified documents home. So the only way to save him from indictment was basically to plead senility. An undercurrent of questioning his fitness for office has now roared out into the open, with people everywhere mocking and seriously questioning Biden’s mental capabilities—at the exact same time that he is making his case that he should remain in the White House four more years, to age 86.

The radical left’s attempts to criminalize, disqualify or at least slow down Trump’s campaign keep blowing up in their face. Biden and his handlers are hurting their own cause: People love Trump because he calls out and fights against these left-wing political tactics. The more the “deep state” attacks Trump, the more popular he becomes. Open, unconstitutional, undemocratic lawfare against Trump confirms what he has been claiming for years. A lot of conservatives and even Democrats who would not naturally support someone with Donald Trump’s personality are realizing that he is the only one with the spirit to take on the establishment.

An I&I/tipp Poll asked 1,149 voters whether they were following the Hur investigation into Biden’s possession of classified documents “very closely,” “somewhat closely,” “not very closely,” “not at all closely” and “not sure.” Of the 568 people who were following the investigation closely, it asked whether the federal government was being more lenient with Biden than with Trump: About 62 percent of these respondents answered, “Yes.”

Despite the attempts by radical lawyers, prosecutors and judges to take down Trump, and the attempts of news executives and presenters to sway the American people, the situation is apparent. People see what America’s political establishment has become, they don’t like it, and they are looking into why it won’t stop attacking Donald J. Trump. They hear officials and talking heads crying out “Save democracy” as they demand investigations, indictments and convictions—against one candidate in particular—for the express purpose of preventing voters from selecting the candidate of their choice.

For all their incredible, intertwined powers—and their strong motivations to keep things hidden—the radical leftists in government and the media keep encountering one failure and one exposure after another. Why?

In “Why I Still Believe Donald Trump Is Coming Back,” my father explained that President Trump is a type of King Jeroboam ii. He stated that 1 Kings 14 and other scriptures are prophecies for today: God has promised to use a Jeroboam leader to save the nation temporarily.

“And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more” (Amos 7:8).

“We have been watching this prophecy since June 1990, in the second issue of the Trumpet we ever produced,” he wrote in the March 2021 Philadelphia Trumpet. “It speaks of a time when God is preparing to measure the destruction of end-time Israel—the United States and Britain—and He says, ‘I will not again pass by them any more’ (verse 8). This is just before severe correction comes on these nations if they don’t repent. They are receiving their final warning. … So the entire context of God saying I will not again pass by them anymore is the time of ‘Jeroboam’—an end-time antitype of King Jeroboam ii of Israel ….”

We do not know how the Trump-Biden rematch will unfold, or what the radicals are trying now, but the Trumpet continues to assert that President Trump will return to power.
