Something is seriously wrong with how Joe Biden is handling illegal immigration, and many longtime Democrats know it. A new cnn survey found that 70 percent of respondents, which includes many liberals, disapprove of how the man in the White House is handling immigration.

More than 7 million illegal aliens have been apprehended at the southern border since Biden took office. There are untold numbers more who have escaped capture. And according to a Yale-Massachusetts Institute of Technology study from 2018, these millions have joined more than 22 million more who were already here.

Rather than deporting these aliens, Team Biden has been bussing and even flying them across the nation. New York City has received over 60,000 asylum-seekers in the last year and is preparing to hand out $53 million in prepaid credit cards to them.

Many illegal immigrants have gotten involved in drug trafficking, robbery and other crimes. A mob of 12 of them attacked two police officers in New York City’s Times Square last month. Only six were arrested, and only one remains in jail: Five were released without bail. That means 11 cop-beating immigrants are at large in New York City, and no one in authority is doing anything about it. Even Kathy Hochul, New York’s Democratic governor, is upset by this flagrant miscarriage of justice. On February 1, she told reporters that authorities should “get them all and send them back. You don’t touch our police officers.”

It seems many radical Democrats were pro-open border back when illegal immigration was a problem for Texas Governor Greg Abbott to deal with on his own. Now that illegal immigrants are overwhelming Democratic cities across America, virtue-signaling social-justice warriors are singing a different tune.

Having dealt with the problem for a fraction as long as the leaders of Brownsville, Eagle Pass or El Paso, the Democratic mayors of Chicago, New York City and Denver now want the migrant crisis to be classified as a federal emergency.

Illegal immigration increases the number of low-wage workers in the labor force, making it hard for American citizens and others here legally to find jobs. For this reason, lower-income minorities are among the demographic groups most opposed to an open border. And they are responding logically to Biden’s radical policies.

A recent Reuters-Ipsos survey of almost 800 Hispanic adults, who normally vote Democrat in overwhelming numbers, found more support for Donald Trump than for Joe Biden. In 2008, Barack Obama received 95 percent of the black vote. Yet a November nbc News poll indicated that 20 percent of black voters would consider selecting Donald Trump as president in November. So it seems that many people are waking up to the fact that just because Obama is black does not mean he has black people’s best interests at heart. The open-border policies and inflationary economics he is pushing, through Biden, hurt all American citizens.

The U.S. federal government is entrusted with securing the nation’s international borders. Under Barack Obama and Joe Biden, it has not only failed to do so but also supplied enticements for increased illegal immigration and, now, is actively opposing the state of Texas as it tries to limit the chaos.

Texas spent $11 million on 70,000 rolls of razor wire over the past three years, but Border Patrol agents acting on Biden’s orders have lifted or even destroyed much of this wire for the purpose of allowing illegal immigrants through. Many moderate Democrats, and even those who are more ardent, see something wrong with this.

Just over a year ago, my father, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry, mentioned that the tide is beginning to turn against the radical left, and he was right. President Trump won the Iowa Republican caucus in January in a landslide, and even liberals are starting to look favorably on his border and economic policies. We are undoubtedly in for a wild election year. Finally, people are realizing that something is wrong, and they are standing up for their county.

A prophecy in Amos 7 states that God will save the modern descendants of Israel from the abyss one last time. Why? To give them one last chance to repent of the numerous sins tearing their country apart.

In Deuteronomy 28:52, God says an open border is one of the curses He will send on the nation that disobeys Him. Razor wire is not the ultimate solution to this curse. America is in this situation because it has turned its back on the God who gave these blessings in the first place.
